Location/Facilities
The family-run 3-star Alpenhotel Edelweiss is located at the resort entrance of Maurach, directly near the valley station of the Rofanseilbahn lift. The resort centre with various shops, restaurants, bars, and cafés is reached in approx. 150 m. The free regional bus stops about 50 m from the hotel and brings you to the approx. 1.5 km-distant beach on the Achensee lake. Facilities of the hotel include a friendly entry way with reception and internet access (payable locally), lift, bar-lounge with cosy fireplace, restaurant, reading/TV room, spa area (access daily), and terrace with panorama views. Free parking based on availability.

Furnishing/Board
The pleasantly furnished rooms are complete with bath or shower/wc, satellite TV, telephone, radio, and in some cases a balcony. The all-inclusive board is comprised of a breakfast buffet and a once-weekly French breakfast with waffles, baguette, and croissants, and a once-weekly traditional Tyrolean breakfast with original Bauernbrot bread and regional products. Additionally, board includes an noon-time snack, coffee/tea, hot chocolate, and baked goods in the afternoon as well as 4-course or buffet-style evening meal with salad bar. Once weekly a Tyrolean speciality buffet is served as well as a once weekly Italian buffet. A vegetarian alternative is available at all evening meals. Soft drinks are included daily from 10:00 to 21:00, and beer and table wine are included from 18:00 to 21:00. From 10:00 to 19:00, there is also a kid's juice bar in the children's playroom.
