The resorts Gerlos and Königsleiten are both holiday destinations with a touch of class. In the high valley, north of the Kitzbühel Alps and at the foot of the Hohe Tauern National Park, there are many activities available: hiking in the mountains, thrilling mountain bike rides, and for the courageous, paragliding flights. Yet those who like splashing around will definitely get their money’s worth in the “Durlassboden reservoir” which is situated at an altitude of 2,000 m. Otherwise, what about a Nordic walking tour? Gerlos, situated at 1250 m, is also located in a tributary valley of the Ziller Valley. 200 km of walking and hiking paths running up to the glacier and five romantic tributary valleys with lovely mountain pastures and snack stations are available to guests in Gerlos. In addition, holidaymakers are spoilt for choice with tennis and squash courts, western riding, paragliding, aerobic courses, boot hire, surfing at the reservoir, mountain biking or mini golf. The holiday resort has plenty to offer the whole family with a kids’ adventure club and a free crèche for children. There are several events available for young and old.
