Travel deals Aschau in the Ziller Valley - heavenly summer delight!
The Ziller Valley, or as it is secretly called - the “liveliest valley in the world”, is situated in the heart of Tyrol; its southern border, the Ziller Valley Alps, directly borders South Tyrol. The possibilities in this rather flat valley seem to be endless! So many activities can be found in this unique and very diverse region, that there is something to suit every taste. There are more than 800 km of marked cycling and mountain biking trails, a 1,000 km hiking network, countless different (and sometimes guided) adventure hikes, a mini-golf course, pools, lakes, paragliding… Not even skiing is out of reach in the summer here, as the year-round Hintertux Glacier ski area lets you enjoy ski runs even with the warm summer temperatures. Aschau in the Ziller Valley - heavenly summer delight! The small Ziller Valley resort of Aschau lies at 567 m above sea level, between Fügen and Mayrhofen.
