The Italian Adriatic coast lies on the eastern side of the country and stretches over a total of 500 km, from Triest in the north, on the Slovenian boarder, to Ancona in the south. It is composed of four holiday regions, each with its own charm: Friaul-Julisch, Venetien, Emilia Romagna and Marken.
